### Basic Space-Time functions-as applied to light cones

It is interesting that most mathematical functions are only applicapple in a anylitical way. For example, the actual idea of functions as applied to calculus is usually anylitical. But, let's look at exeptions.

Le't say that I take the null surface t+ to infinity ( reminds you of g+ to infinity, doesn't it?) and we find that the only function that comes through is the fact that t+=n+t1, where n is the number of singularities, and t1 is past event. So, the function of null surfaces is the number of singularities present.

Even though that isn't much news, it brings up something. That all events, one way or another, have to have a singularity in the calculations when applied to light cones.
